Get Pregnant, Now!

Once you make the life altering decision to have a baby, everything changes. You no longer have to worry about the birth control that you were so careful with before, and every day lasts a little bit longer when waiting for that day to see those two little lines. One thing is certain, becoming pregnant is not always the easiest thing to do. Couples often become frustrated and impatient if things don’t happen the way they plan. So many times they think that all they have to do to make a baby is to stop preventing and let nature take its course. Sometimes nature needs a little help.

First, a woman trying to conceive should be aware of many factors. Age is an important factor in the time it takes to get pregnant. While women under thirty tend to be highly fertile, once they go past thirty, their body is already slowing down and each year that passes decreases their chances of getting pregnant. Being familiar with their cycle is another thing women can do to boost the odds of getting pregnant. Knowing when you are fertile, or ovulating, each cycle will help with the timing of intercourse so that the eager sperm are sure to find that fertile egg. Another good thing to do is to be sure to get that yearly check-up at the gynecologist’s office to be sure your reproductive organs are working as they were intended to.

Though most men think their job in creating a baby is a simple, enjoyable one that anyone is capable of, there are many things that can help or hurt his chances of producing sperm able to impregnate a female. Wearing tight clothing or underwear can often suffocate the testicles where the sperm are stored. Heat is not a friend of sperm, as it can kill it off. Also, taking extremely hot showers can have the same effect. Heat isn’t the only dangerous threat to a man’s sperm. Cycling or high impact sports can often cause injuries that prohibit the production of good sperm. Doing all of the above may increase your odds of getting pregnant, faster.
